[SOLVED] HP 3050a J611 printer connect error

Now that I, and by I..... I mean madvinegar has solved my WiFi card problem and I am connected to the iNet, I am having issues with my HP 3050a J611 (10.0.0.19) wireless printer.
I was able to complete the setup using the 'temporary' USB connection, however when I try to use it wirelessly, I get an error message...
"Device Communication Error"
I attempted - several times, to search the Zorin forums for this topic but had no luck.
I also sought out a solution via http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/support.html but none of that makes sense to my windows mind...

Your expert (Magical) help with this problem would also be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, Have you installed all the HP bits as per Wolfman's post install guide here:

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2054 - and scroll down to the print section.

Also check this post out (I know it is for an earlier version of Ubuntu but it might just work! :D

Done!!

At the direction of one of my IT friends at work, I removed the printer which had been set-up using the USB connection, then searched for it on the wireless network and reinstalled it.

It works perfectly now.
