Youtube in zorin lite

Hi I can't see youtube movies, I think it's the flash in lite that courses the problem. I have tried via chrome chromium and firefox.Maybe some of you know what to do.

Hi bilfriis. I don't know if it will install to Zorin Lite but try downloading and installing smplayer with youtube.

Use the ubuntu instructions! ;)

You won't want to use any browser again for YouTube! :D

Thank you but it's not just youtube, it aint my pc, but the man's children would like to play on this site http://www.dr.dk/b/Oline/forside.htm too. So he really need the flash to work.

Well until Zorin bring out a newer version of Lite (based on Lubuntu) your friend may want to look at Lubuntu 13.10 (or LXLE 12.04) in the interim:

Well sometime ago i installed lubuntu 13.10 on another pc, and the problem was the same.. But he didn't need to play flash games so i installed the smplayer and that worked. But I can't figure out why flash wont work in Zorin 7.1 Lite...

I suspect it is a codec issue - there are Firefox and Opera add-ons for Flash - but not 100 percent work all the time. SMPlayer and VLC both have most of the codecs needed to play Flash - the only downside to Flash 'per se' is that it is the one piece of software that makes all Operating Systems vulnerable to exploits! ;)
