Hi Finegripper, I am afraid I can't answer that one - just been browsing to see if there are any reviews out there but I can't find any - you might be better PM'ing AZorin or zorink for a definitive answer! Having just looked at the main Zorin site I can't see a Gaming version for 8 but there is one for 6. Sorry I cannot give a definitive answer of the 40 games included - just 8 are mentioned here:

http://zorin-os.com/premium6.html

You are advised to download the core version which is free first to ensure compatibility before purchasing a premium version - and if you are looking for a Long Term Support version 6 is the one to be looking at:

http://ftp.nluug.nl/os/Linux/distr/zorin/6/

But more importantly... Will there be a Premium 8.1
and will I have to make a new donation.? :)

There is a Premium for 8 (if you go to the main page of www.zorin-os.com and then on the 'Get it' then 'Premium', then choose 8 you have the option of downloading or waiting for a physical disc. If you recently purchased 7 Ultimate I would PM AZorin or zorink to see what they can come up with for you. Personally, I would wait to see how 9 fares! ;)
