I am attempting to set up xrdp access from windows clients to my new Zorin server. The connection seems to be fine using sesman-xvnc dialog box, but I only get a black and white screen labeled zorin_server Remote Desktop, with no view of the desktop. I have read and tried numerous posted solutions including setting up an .xsession file with "gnome-session --session=ubuntu-2d" in the Home folder and making it executable using the <sudo chmod 755 .xsession> command. also tried gksudo chmod 777 and 755 .xsession. I also edited xrdp.ini and reverted.
