Greetings to all!
An old guy who's a total newbie at Zorin 8. With Windows XP going bye bye, I decided to load up Zorin and see if it would do the job for me. Well, for 3 days in, its pretty OK.
To make it easier for my wife to get into Chrome, I like to have a desktop shortcut.
One small problem. How do I make Chrome a desktop shortcut?
I tried what I thought would work and it didn't.
Please, don't make me seem too stupid, but if you can help I'll be thankful.

Hi and welcome to the Zorin forum! :D

I must say I am somewhat confused as to why you would want a desktop shortcut when there is one in the panel to begin with (but not on mine - no Google near me thank you! :mrgreen: )

Chrome should show up under 'Internet' in the Menu - just right-click and select 'Create Desktop Shortcut'.
