Shortcuts (Home and Trash) on Desktop

Hi to everyone, i am a new user :-)

Today i've installed Zorin OS Lite on my notebook. All went fine, but i cannot find a way to add/view the Trash icon and the Home icon on my Desktop.
Some hints?

Hi David,

I don't have it installed right now and from memory; you right click any app somewhere in the menu and add to desktop?. There is no other setting I believe!.

You do know that both Zorin 6 & 7 Lite are no longer supported don't you?. The next supported version won't be out for a while!.
