I saw from post install guide that Zorin is based to Ubuntu 13.10 and there is a very short support time left. Is this true. Why launch a new distro for few months. Then there might be long unsupported time. untill a Zorin 9 Lite is available. There is always some changes and things to do and learn when taking a new release to use.

Hi,

that is one you need to address to the devs!. It is only supported until June 2014, the next version of Lubuntu will be an LTS version and is to be released in April 2014!. (Should be 28th April 2014: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lubuntu )

Hopefully the devs will finish Zorin Lite 9 before the end of June?.

:D :D :D

Lite is based off Lubuntu who have different life-cycles to core Ubuntu. Lubuntu normally maxes out at 18 months - the only derivative with LTS aka 12.04 is LXLE - support until April 2017. :D
