I saw from post install guide that Zorin is based to Ubuntu 13.10 and there is a very short support time left. Is this true. Why launch a new distro for few months. Then there might be long unsupported time. untill a Zorin 9 Lite is available. There is always some changes and things to do and learn when taking a new release to use.

Lite is based off Lubuntu who have different life-cycles to core Ubuntu. Lubuntu normally maxes out at 18 months - the only derivative with LTS aka 12.04 is LXLE - support until April 2017.
