[SOLVED] Failure to download extra data files

I got following update information:

"The following packages requested additional data downloads after pagage installation, but the data could not be downloaded or not be processed.

flashplugin-installer

The download will be attempted again later, or you can try the download again now. Running this command requires an active Internet connection"


I have tried now run this action several times without success and that window appears every time when starting. The installed os. is a Zorin 8 Ultimate 32bit.

I made a new update and shut down, lets see if will appear any more. Has anyone experienced that same failure message?

run this terminal command, it should fix the problem:

Code:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f

and restart after updating.

Thanks Wolfman, I made the update and did not get any "Failure to download" message. So seems to be fixed.
