[SOLVED]Lg S1 Express Dual keyboard not working with Zorin 8

Hi there! I have a Lg S1 Express Dual laptop and my keyboard doesn't work with the latest version on Zorin (Zorin 8). It works fine with older versions but not with the new one.

Maybe some kind of update missing?

I did some search here and seems that i am the first one to bring this question.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hi,

is it wireless?, is it running via a USB hub?, if it is, unplug it and then plig it directly into a free USB port and then boot your PC, let us know if that helps. :D

Linux doesn't play well with keyboards/mice that plugged into USB hubs and/or are wireless!.

Let us know what happens!. :D

It would appear to be an Ubuntu 13.10 issue on which Zorin 8 is based:

Now how you can downgrade without use of a keyboard - unless you can get hold of a USB one as a temporary measure to manually install a lower kernel:

Hi again. I am writing this message using my Laptop keyboard with Zorin 8. Thanks for your answers. They helped me solving this problem.

Swarfender437, i had to downgrade my kernel, just like i found following your links.

So, for now, i have my problem solved. lLt's hope the new versions come with this problem solved.
