Problem opening wine programs from quick launch

I just started fresh with zorin os 8. I am using wine which comes with zorin. None of my wine (Windows based applications) launch when opened from the quick launch or item dock near the zorin start button. The 2 other linux based programs would launch just fine. Wine programs open from the desktop when clicked just fine. I do not have this problem with ubuntu and would like to use zorin instead but this problem discourages me.

Hi,

have you pinned the application icons to the panel?. I ask because I cannot see any there!.

I tried in vain last night - I can't do it either - I can create the launcher but all I get is a 'watch' (timer icon with current theme) and nothing happens. I suspect it is the way Zorin has been 'custom configured' that prevents 'tweaking' elements of Wine - I could be wrong. I would advise OP to PM AZorin and/or zorink on the issue. :D
