Things are setup different relative to the country one lives.

Try XEOMA

If you try [ wine ] related.

Play on Linux has to have the elder media player installed before proceeding with any installation for the most part.
Make sure you look at the requirements of the said IPCam > WebCam app and look in the Play on Linux app directory to see if they have the needed add-ons > whatever to add.

Hi thanks for the info will check it out later.
I tried play on Linux for some other applications and could-not get them to run, seemed to install OK, is that down to not having an elder media player installed.

I think I will be removing PlayOnLinux - it contains reference software I totally disagree with - just remember Gnome is not welcome in Buddhist countries because the Foot is the lowest part of the body with the least respect - therefore I would expect repos in PlayOnLinux to also bear this in mind! :D

For us newbies what or where is the elder media player.

I tried XEOMA have you had this app working, installs and finds my cameras, but try and put the camera password etc in doesnot want to know, gave up and uninstalled.
