[SOLVED] weather applet, how to get it closer to home?

There might be towns closer to where I live, but there doesn't seem to be a way to get suggestions to show up. For Oregon there seems to be only one town, Portland? Other distro's have weather apps that check with local airports, how come the one with Zorin doesn't do that?

Hi yonnie,

install the package "screenlets-pack-all" and then use the "Clearweather Applet" like my desktop pic shows:

You must use the woeid for your location!. :D

Code:
sudo apt-get install screenlets-pack-all

I tried the panel weather applet but it only seems to do major locations!, I wanted Garmisch-Partenkirchen but it cannot find it so I put in Munich which is a 100 clicks away!:

I installed the screenlets, how do I gain access to them? Nevermind, I just found them in the main menu under accessories, thanks
