An address book for all Tux?

Is there an address book (besides TB) that works for most distro's? Something that can automatically read and collect addresses so you don't have to spend hours reading stuff from multiple sources and manually typing it in?

I have a huge folder from a win8 install that has .contact files inside. I have other korganizer folders and a huge TB address book.

Is there something out there that can use all of it and share it with other apps? Automagically?

I like the idea behind organizer, where I can have it tell me when I have an appointment to do something except it's too complex to figure out how to use it!

You can try Kontact but I don't think it does anything "Automagically". :D

Hi,

I use it all the time, should you have a problem, install the package "kde-full" and it will install the base for KDE but it doesn't screw Zorin up!. It will however install a shed load of apps you most likely don't need but that said, it is worth it!.
