I have done a full update of Zorin7 32-bit yesterday and now Synpatic crashes when I try to open it. It happens so fast that I cannot read the message it briefly flashes on the screen.
In the same vein, Zorinwm also just flashes and I want to restore the UI to its default settings.

did you run "
DPKG" per the update guide?:

NETWORK CABLE IS REQUIRED TO DO THIS AND I KNOW YOU HAVE WLAN SO TRY INSTALLING ZORIN 8 AS YOU INTEND TO DO ON YOUR OTHER THREAD!.
Zorin 7 is no longer supported!.

I am going to try your Softpedia download link soonest, at least this week. A new install will solve all current issues and I will have a new machine again.
