new firefox upgrade help

I got new downloads this morning and i got firefox 29.0 update. I hate it. How do i get back the previous version I had?

Hi,

open Synaptic and right click firefox for complete, removal, once removed, see the following:

Stopping a package from updating (Locking):

If you don't want a particular package to update, open Synaptic and find the package using search, mark it with a mouse click then go to "Panel > Lock Version > Apply" which will stop the package from updating forever, to undo this, just do the reverse!.

Now all you need to do install your preferred version of Firefox, you might get a warning which you can ignore however please bear in mind that older versions of FF don't have current security updates!.
