password can NOT be chaged....why?

i try to change my admin password...

it's not working at all.................

Hi,

are you logged in as "Guest"?. You cannot do anything if you are only logged in as "Guest", just press the keyboard arrow keys at the login window and then your normal username will appear and you can click on that and log in, see this thread if need be:

The best way to do it if the above didn't work for you:

i'm on root...i uploaded pic

i use GUI only

when i changed my pasword it just stuck or crashed there...

nothing happens

I am sorry but I cannot really read what it states on the pic you posted!,

You should have clicked on the lock on the top right and then password and then make your changes, your pic looks slighty different to mine if I wanted to change my password!.

Where did it crash?, after you entered the new password or before that?.
