Monitor will not display Dual Boot Screen

RFS

Sat May 03, 2014 9:20:09 pm

For some reason the resolution of the Dual Boot Screen is preventing my monitor from displaying it. So if I hit the enter key, the first option of the Dual Boot opens Zorin OS, but since I can't see the Screen, I can't chose the option to open Windows. I get a blank screen with a message floating in it. Can't remember the message just now. Anyway, since I can go into Zorin just fine, I would like to know how to edit whatever file is the "Dual Boot" so that when start-up gets to that point, I can see what I am doing. Thanks.

Hi,

I would start by doing a full system update with this terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t) command:

Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f

What graphics card do you have?, did you install any drivers?, paste this command and post the feedback here please:

Code:
lspci

Did you check in System Settings > Hardware > Displays > Mirror Displays?.

Let us know if this helps!.
