Cannot see shared folder contents? Please help.

I just installed Zorin OS 8 Ultimate this evening, and I created a share of the Home folder. With an Android device, I can see Zorin, and the shared folder but when I go into it, it says (Directory is empty). It isn't. I created several sub folders all with files in them. So then I set up shares for all the sub folders and they look empty also. What am I missing? Someone please help.

Hi,

open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t) and run this command:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f


It might be a case of missing dependencies?, see also:
