(SOLVED) USB Print Server

tlcz

I am trying to configure Zorin 8 to print to a Belkin USB print server. The print server communicates to the network via ethernet. The print server is at IP 192.168.1.128. The print server uses ports 9100 and 9101 to manage two printers. How do I set up CUPS to use this?

Thanks

The solution was right in-front of me, and for those of us way too accustomed to XP, very much like XP. AppSocket/Jet Direct setup is very much like XP's tcp/ip printing set up.

From Change Device URI window.
1. Choose "network printer" from menu.
2. Choose "AppSocket/Jet Direct" from menu.
3. Input IP Address of Belkin Server in host field
4. Input port no, 9100, for printer no 1. in port number field
5 Input port no. 9101, for printer no 2. in port number field
6. Select appropriate driver from driver database for each printer.
7. Print test pages.

Success! :D
