Hi,

you are most likely logging into your guest account only and it won't save any changes, at the login window, press the arrow keys and your normal user name will also show up at the login window, login only with that name!.

Do you mean network via a cable or WiFI?. Do you have an older modem connection?.

I have wifi and cable but the wifi doesn't work but
the cable does and we have a new Telstra modem.

Hi,

run this terminal (Ctrl + Alt + t) command and then restart and see if the wifi is working afterwards:

Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f

Hi, there should not be a need for an HDMI driver - Zorin should pick this up. I have an nVidia GT620 card and the HDMI just works - should also show up in your sound manager - make sure you have all the Pulse Audio packages installed and 'libsox' - Wolfman will be along shortly if I have missed anything! :D

Hi, there, open 'Synaptic Package Manager' (Menu | System Tools | Administration) and search for 'Pulse Audio' - install all the packages, especially 'Pulse Audio Manager' (paman). :D

I am at work at present so cannot check the exact package name but if it is just 'videos' (you can check this by right-clicking the icon that launches it and select properties), open a terminal and enter:

Code:
sudo apt-get purge videos
