I help retired Seniors switch from XP to Zorin to continue using their computers without spending additional money. The only problems that I find are with printers. Turbo Print seems to make a lot of printers usable in Linux but many Seniors on a fixed income cannot afford $40 for turbo print. Is there another program that can do the same thing for free. Can a turbo print license work for more than one computer, or is each specific to the printer? I am currently trying to get a Brother MFC 7340 working with Zorin. Everything looks like it should work but nothing prints.

Further to what Wolfman has said, I find that launching the printers interface from the terminal works better:
- Code:
system-config-printer

Thank you. When the terminal command is three lines, do I hit ENTER after each line? Like what Wolfman suggested.

Hi,
with regard to Turboprint, it is a pay version software (€30) and if you have all the correct drivers for your printer installed, you won't need it!.

Here it is if you want to spend money:
