Hi. I'm pretty new to the LINUX world. I'm pretty impressed so far.

My question is about the BOOT page. There are several options there. One says Zorin and the other Zorin 8. If I choose nothing the timer runs out and everything starts up fine. If I hit enter while Zorin is selected, again fine. If I try choosing the Zorin 8 option I land at the log in screen, I see my user name but my password doesn't work. My only option at this point is to reboot.

Can anyone shine some light on this for me? Thanks.

P.S. I tried searching the forum but putting Zorin, Zorin 8, Boot screen, boot options, etc. didn't work. It says search terms are too common???
I didn't know what other words to search. Any tips on helping with searching would be greatly appreciated as well.

Hi,

I cannot explain why, try "Boot Repair" and see if that fixes things:

http://sourceforge.net/p/boot-repair/home/Home/

Download an ISO and burn it SLOWLY to disk, make sure you have the correct type for your PC, either 32 or 64 bit!.

You did a disk/USB install, did you follow this advice?:
