I have Zorin lite 8 installed and I would like to see what hardware is inside this laptop. I can't find any such application. I would also like to have on the desktop a cpu usage monitor and a network monitor. Does this OS support such?

For the hardware info use the '# lshw -short' command in a terminal, as explained here:

With regards to Network Manager:

Hi,

see the Zorin Lite guide and how to add applications to the panel, you can add System Monitor (for example) to it!.:

Don't forget that the Lite version has very few onboard tools and you might have to search through the software manager to find what you need, see the Lubuntu links in the guide for more info about LXDE!.
