Hi guys, how do I install the Zorin themed LXDE (from the Lite version) to use on Zorin 8 Core?

I've tried sudo apt-get install lxde, but obviously that is just for the generic LXDE.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

try:

Code:
sudo apt-get install lxde-core

Then at the login window select LXDE assuming it is showing there by clicking on the session button (cogwheel), you may have to remove AWN completely to get it to work though!.

Hi, I am struggling to remember, but when I installed LXDE in Zorin 6 I ended up losing the Zorin DE altogether! ;) You just end up with LXDE as per this screenshot:

@Wolfman: Thank you very much for that. I'll give it a go when I get home tonight.

@Swarfendor437: Yeah hopefully it retains the Zorin DE. Congratulations on 2000 posts.
