Just installed Zorin 8 and can't find the "Main Menu" - - - H E L P

do you mean the main menu on the bottom panel?.

Re-install AWN:

if your AWN panel is completely screwed up, open a terminal with Ctrl + Alt + t and paste the following command:

sudo apt-get purge avant-window-navigator && sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator

This should remove and reinstall AWN to a bog standard new one.

You should restart with Ctrl + Alt + Del; then log out and restart and see if it fixes the problem!.

Thanks. I don't understand how the forum and posts work. Is there a manual that I can review. It appears very "obtuse" to the newbie. I'm sure you don't think about it, as you use it so much. I had a hard time viewing your reply. Very frustrating!

there isn't a manual for the forum, click on things and see what they do, that is how I learned!.

Further to your problem, you can look at the post install guide about AWN settings, it is near the bottom and you will have to scroll down as the hyper links don't work sorry!.
