Hey, I am new to the zorin os. I have installed it last night and could not figure out how to get my graphics card to work and my sound to work.
My motherboard has sound built into it.

Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-HD2

Graphics Card
Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT

If anyone can help me with getting the driver installed for my graphics card and my sound working that would be great. Thanks!

Firstly, update your installation by opening a terminal (Accessories | Terminal) and enter:

Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

then follow Wolfman's excellent Post install guide which includes advice on graphics and audio/sound:

I installed what wolfman suggested on his post and the line of code you gave me. Still my audio is not working. For my graphics he doesnt talk about nvidia cards.

With regards to sound, is this on-board sound? is it AC'97 or Realtek equivalent?
