Hello everybody

I'm using Zorin OS 8 for just a month on my laptop. What i just cannot find on Zorin is how to install a printer that is connected to my Linux Mint computer. Even when i connect the printer directly to my laptop i don seem te get it installed. In Linux Mint it goes a lot easier to install a printer.

thank you already for youre help :)

Well I can't comment on setting up a printer on another GNU/Linux box (Wolfgang02 has offered the solution to that one) but in respect of attaching a printer directly to your notebook and you are having issues, I find the best solution is to open a Terminal (Menu | Accessories | Terminal) and enter:

Code:
system-config-printer

If you are attaching a printer to a Hub (mine is connected to the Router's USB ports) I use the LPR/PrintServer option. I have posted this elsewhere so will post back later when I find the screenshot post. :D
