Zorin OS blank status box

Hi I'm new to Linux and I have a problem, instead of having status icons ect. in the bottom right corner I have a white box.

I tried removing and adding and so on all the applets, but still no change. Thanks anyway

This always resolves the problem....by......dragging the [ Indicator3 Applet Off the Menu ] [Then dragging it back to the Menu ] !!!!

I dragged the indicator3 applet from the active applets to available applets, paused, dragged it back and then restarted. No change

remove awn and reinstall in one step. Open a terminal (Menu | Accessories | Terminal] and enter:

Code:: sudo apt-get purge avant-window-navigator && sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator
