I am a computer repairman who works on computers for the elderly. Now that Xp no longer has support, some of these people want to switch to Zorin. Most of them were used to creating shortcuts to their favorite websites on the desktop though on their windows machines. Is there a way to do this with Zorin?

Currently I don't have a working (installed) version of Zorin - booting Zorin 6 LTS and using Chrome I pressed the key combination of 'Ctrl+ S' of the 'bbc.co.uk' website to desktop. This creates a blank icon (like a blank sheet of paper) with the name of the file underneath. Then just clicking on it took me straight to BBC in Google Chrome - I have never tried uploading pictures from Chrome but suspect it may not work (but wait to be corrected).
