Couple of updating questions

hi Folks, I fairly new to Zorin. I've installed Zorin 8 and it's great but I found out it's not a long term version. I need to know ....
(i) How to install the next long term version - e.g. do I burn a cd and do it clean the same way I installed Zorin 8 or can I update via the menu?
(ii) How to not go past that until the next long term version is released.

If this seems to be a stupid question feel free to say so and provide an explanation to correct my misunderstanding.

Hi, take a look at Wolfman's excellent post-install guide on the subject of upgrading to the next version - personally I prefer to do a fresh install after going to /home folder, pressing Ctrl+ H to see hidden files then copy the lot to external drive - but each to their own! :D
