Currently, I am running Zorin in VMWare to test it out and see if I would like to switch over to it on my laptop. Currently, the only issue I am seeing is that it doesn't support my resolution of 1920x1080. Is there any way to enable or force the OS to display at this size? The only other 16:9 resolution (the only one, as a matter of fact) is 1360x768, as shown in the attached file. I'm really hoping there is a solution to my issue, I love Zorin so far and much prefer it to Win8!

I suspect this could be a VMWare issue and amount of RAM available - I have discovered that full resolution is not normally implemented until a full install has been achieved.

I haven't used VM ware before, however, I have used virtual box. which after you install the virtual box drivers, I have no issues running at 1080. You likely need to install from vmware display drivers.
Found this.
