Hi there, I would like to install Zorin OS 6.4 as an alternate operating system on my Compaq nx9420 which is running W7 HP 64bit .
- I downloaded the 64 bit version of OS 6.4 used ImgBurn on lowest speed to burn a DVD.
- program starts up in LiveDVD, I can access the internet with the GoogleChrome browser.
- I started the install and it went through all the questions language etc copied files and finally stopped dead
in "creating (something or other) accounts" after waiting for six hours I got out of it the "Microsoft way" - removing the battery and charger.
- Still comes up in LiveDVD, but when I try to install the decision tree now leads to: wipe out everything on your computer or do something else,
which involves partitions and root directories things I know nothing about.
Question: Is this the end of the line or ......?
