I installed Zorin 9 this weekend on a Acer AspireRevo,model R1600, Intel Atom 230 processor (1.6 GHz), 1.5 GB of RAM and the NVIDIA ION graphics motherboard with Windows XP, to run next to the Windows OS.
Installation was faultless, every thing went fine and work great except the video running on Firefox, like watching Hulu was extremely shoppy, and voice and video out of sync. This does not happens in Windows XP. As much as I don't like Windows it runs faster and smother than Zorin 9, something I was not expecting. My only use for this PC is to access the internet to view TV shows on line.
Could you let me know if there is anything I can do to improve my viewing pleasure? Should I change to Zorin 9 lite?
