[CLOSED] image overlay software ubuntu

Does anyone know of image overlay software for ubuntu which will enable me to have an image over the top of an app window without affecting the app. There are a few for windows and I have a zip called Chruview which is supposed to be for linux but I can not as usual see how to install it.

Hi, could you give a link to the application site? All I get with searching for that name is Autocad apps for Linux! :o

Silly old man. Sorry Swarfendor i have spelled it incorrectly http://cthruview.sourceforge.net/ although it says it is for linux I think it is really a windows app.
