I just got done installing the 3rd party printer driver from the Canon website,
but there is no support for the scanner.

Can someone help me with getting the scanner to work on my system one?
(see signature for system one)

I'm running Zorin 9 64 bit.

I did that several times and NO GO for me!

Only thing for me... I don't run WinBlows anymore and have no copy of it, so I cannot try in WinBlows.

When I depress the SCAN button on my MF4770n printer, it says "select the scan type" and then below it, you can select from two choices: Computer or Remote Scanner

I select Computer and hit OK on the printer and it comes right back to the same question and then when I try to start Simple Scan, it turns to RED and says FAILED TO SCAN!

Hi, done some more searching and found this:

in particular please take note of installing the ia-32libs package and the old repository link in the bottom post also.

Hope this gets you sorted! :D
