Problems with Software Center

If I try to install AisleRiot (game) the password box comes up. No problem, I authenticate then after a few seconds an error box comes up saying "Requires installation of untrusted packages". My options in this box are OK or Repair and neither one works. I click on the OK and it goes away for a split second then comes back up. After clicking OK for about 5 or 6 times it stops coming up but nothing happens. Same thing if I click Repair. On and off for a few times then nothing. I've tried installing a few other games just to see and the same thing happens. I've also trid doing it through Synaptic with the same results. Any advice? Thanks

Try to install the package gnome-games-extra-data via synaptic and then try to reinstall AisleRiot and see if that helps.

I have not tried it but I have read this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/652181

If it works for you, please can you mark as solved so other people can find it?

I just came across the same error installing a program and solved it by following this guide:
https://code.launchpad.net/+help-soyuz/ ... -list.html

That won't work as I have zorin 7. Maybe I should just wipe it out and upgrade to 9

Hi Brigadier, that is the best solution for you! Zorin 7 is now end-of-life (just like Ubuntu 13.04 on which it was built) so there will be no security updates for that version of Zorin - if you have issues with Zorini 9 on your rig you could always drop back to Zorin 6 - LTS to April 2017. :D

Thanks Friend, looks like that is my only option. I've always had trouble with zorin 7 and the tech support really is worthless. I did the linux thing to get away from MS but maybe I'll try a different one like Mint or something else. Thanks for the reply.
