Where are the window borders, controls, etc? This is a fresh installation of ZOS 9 Core in Virtualbox.

Give all the allowed GPU bits (128 or 256) in settings.
Give some more cores if possible (i.e. 2 cores).
Finally install guest additions.

Additions are installed. I tried 2 cores as well. I set vid memory to 128mb, still the same.

I will wait till the next virtualbox update, maybe their 3d acceleration is screwed up.

I had the same issue on my first install of Zorin 9

It was already enabled. Toggling it on/off (with restarting inbetween) makes no difference.

I would install Ubuntu Tweak (ubuntu-tweak.com) and once installed (you may have to run from terminal in VB by:

Code:
ubuntu-tweak

Go to Tweaks Tab and then look at playing with 'Themes' :D
