Hi priyanshuz,

if you didn't create a back-up using a back-up prog of some sort or other, I am afraid to say that you only have the option of a new install, that said; you can leave your /home partition untouched and all your files and settings will still be there when you re-install.

When it comes to the part about where to install, select the option "something else" and you can tell the installer exactly where your drives are and don't select format for your /home partition!!.
