Zorin Menu going behind panel

like the title says. every now and then the zorin menu goes behind the panel. is there a reason for this?

i have to right click the panel and select preferences.

then on the settings i have to select any of the options on the behavior tab. hit close and then come back again and select panel mode to get it fix.

Hi, this used to be an issue in earlier versions of Zorin and I think it is down to a bug in the Panel (AWN = Avant Window Navigator). That is why I prefere Cairo-Dock with GnoMenu:
