How do I find the version number for the Zorin I am using. Searching the forum gives no results for any search. Also, I am getting a message to upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS. Will that blow up my Zorin OS? Thanks for any help that you can give. ....Mark

You can kiss your Zorin OS good bye if you try and upgrade to 14.04.
Zorin OS is a modified version of Ubuntu.
In which it can't be safely accomplished.....without permanently crashing Zorin OS.
Upgrading to the newest kernel via [ updates ] is the only safe measure that can be taken.
In some cases...upgrading to the newest kernel...can be a hazard to Zorin OS's health.
That's why in the updates...in settings it should be set to [ never ].
I don't have ZOS handy at the moment to give any examples. [ settings ]
Never do a upgrade to a newer version of [ Ubuntu ] via upgrade.

That's what I thought. I'll just do the Zorin update. How do I know which version I'm using now?
