[MOVED] Solid color desktop background

Hi all,

I want just a solid black desktop background/wallpaper.... Is there a way to do this?

Searched the net but can't find anything.....

Also, are there other wallpapers available for download? and where?

And themes.........I want a black/red theme for zorin 9 Ultimate if anyone knows of one........(can I use ubuntu themes)?

HI, right-click the Desktop and select 'Change Desktop Background' then take the following three steps:

1. Click on the 'Wallpapers' button to view the other options - select 'Colours & gradients':



2. Select the colour you want to apply to the desktop:



As for themes, go to 'gnome-look.org' - I have some I made on there!

As for themes, these should be GTK3 only themes - if they are tarballed be sure to inspect them before extracting/installing:

You can also install .themes from windows in respect of wallpapers - download a Windows Theme package and extract using 7-zip - I install the Windows .exe version of 7-zip and run it in WINE.
