Problem with reading memory storage devices

Hello
I have several problems of one type. With some random flash memories or even hard disks when I try to open this memory storage it says that it couldn't mount. I is like that only with some devices some worrks just normally
I am on Zorin 9 up to date

Hi, have you also updated with the following command too?:

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
this will look for missing dependencies in Apps with the recent kernel updates.

If still no joy, please be sure to have your machine connected directly to the internet (not wireless) boot into 'Advanced Settings for Zorin' (from second menu item in GRUB) and run 'dpkg' - after it has completed, don't select continu but reboot instead.

Also these drives have not been inadvertently removed before 'safe to remove' has appeared in Windows/Zorin? ;)
