I've installed Zorin lite and all seamed good but for no rhyme or reason the display go's hay wire.
The display gets all these color horizontal lines. This also happens with any linux I install.
The PC is a HP with Vista 64bit install. I'm install linux along side Vista.
Vista runs fine but I'm trying to move a windows user over to linux.
Has anyone seen this before and may know a way to fix it :?:

This sounds like a graphics issue - would help if you gave more detailed specification of the machine involved (Desktop/Notebook/Graphics card/chipset).

When you boot, choose 'advanced settings' (not running lite so not sure if this is available in GRUB menu) and see if you get the option to edit the boot parameters with either Tab key or the E key for Edit and enter:

Code:
acpi=off nomodeset forcevesa
