Just an idea, but I have two monitors on mine and using the DIsplays in System Settings, can you switch the monitor arrangements arround? ex: make monitor 1 to 2 or 3 into 2? I have the taskbar on monitor 1 and just wallpaper on monitor and can easily switch them. Dunno if there are any settings in Compiz that can help either.
