Dotted Lines On Startup

Hey guys,

I recently installed Zorin OS 9 Ultimate and I've been a big fan of it. However, there is only one thing that bothers me. For about 3 seconds on startup, it my screen shows green/purple dotted lines. Is this normal? If not, how could I get rid of that from happening? It's something small but I would really love it if it didn't show that...

I suspect it might be something to do with your Lenovo Notebook mobile graphics/bios boot settings (when computer boots it is in low graphics mode). You could do a search for 'Lenovo (your specific model of lenovo laptop) and boot screen issues in Ubuntu 14.04' (as Zorin 9 is based on Ubuntu 14.04).
