I am about to pull out what is left of my hair, i have Zorin 9 put it on a dvd installed fine on my desk top and works like a dream.However, the laptop not a happy story.I have used the same dvd to try to install , i get the options screen i take install then i get a back screen and there it sits small white line top left corner blinking at me.I have tried run from cd, install from a usb using universal usb Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.5.6.exe but nothing works anyone any ideas ?

Do you get the blue menu splash at all? Can you provide us with full details of your Notebook specs?
