Transparent indicator panel?

The indicator panel on the dock has a fixed background color that matches the Zorin theme, which looks fine for while you're using the default Lucido appearance, but if I want to change the dock style then it becomes really noticeable and looks bad. Can I make it transparent or something so it will look good on any dock?

Here are many different alternatives to get rid of white Indicator 3 applet. Look if some of these changes can solve your needs.
