My IT internship boss wants to know what tool is needed to provide remote access service via a Zorin OS 9 machine.

Can this software be found in Synaptic Manager?

What freeware or trial ware allows this easily?

Team Viewer !!!!

Easy to be used by anyone.

Zorin OS 9 <> Ubuntu 14.04
Installation Link : http://linuxg.net/how-to-install-teamvi ... e-systems/

Windows Installation : Can be downloaded from [ Team Viewer Main Site ] or [ http://cnet.com ]
That's if Windows is used for Host/Guest in general.

Personally I like to use SSH, the service can be installed bye running the following commands.
Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -y openssh-server

This will allow you to ssh into the box using a CLI (command line interface) which is fast even on most very slow connections. To be able to view the screen, there are several other tools that can be used vnc is a personal favorite of mine. All be it, I have no idea how to set up the server version in Zorin (I like ssh way better, it is way faster if you kinda know the command line. )
