I cant`t get in to my bios......

Hallow.
I`am totaly new and super fresh with Linux/Zorin.
Just installed it actually.
Now I want to do some changes in my bios but the OS refuses me to enter.
I`t claims I have a password.
The only passwords I have is my admin one and the one I made whwn I choose to enqrypth my OS in the insalation.
Noen of this works.
So is there a commen password to get in to the bios when you are running Zorin OS 9 Ultimate ?

You cannot get to the BIOS from any OS! It is dependent upon what model of machine you have and what BIOS chip manufacturer is on board - for Dell it is F2 key at boot, for HP it is the Esc key, others it is the Del (delete) key - if there is a password in the BIOS is it your machine!

I have a Aser Aspire laptopp and normally I use the del key to get into my bios.
But you said that it probebly was my machine ho made the password ? Ore did you mean that I should use the name of my machine

Dumb question....this happens all the time.
Nothing at you personally.
Look to see if your logging in as guest.
That is....if there is password related problems within ZOS.
If so...use the up/down arrows on your keyboard to see your [ name ] instead of guest
Next thing....have the power adapter plugged in....with the battery out.
Try that way.......won't get into the reason why. [ cold start without battery ]
It works sometimes..........getting access to [ bios setup ]
