Laptop Docking / Undocking Issues

I recently added a dock to my laptop setup of Zorin OS 3.1 and everytime I disconnect from the dock libreoffice crashes and then the resolution on the display resets... and then when I put it back on the dock it does the same thing.... whats up with this?
